Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is an American actress. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat pack group of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award Best Female leading for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. In the early 80s, she made her debut as a film actress with the action film Bad Boys. She was highly acclaimed for the film. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, where other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to be a part of The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. The film directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest high school films of all time. Even though the budget for this film was only $1 million, the film has made more than $50 million. The actress also appeared in a variety of TV programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. It was a show for teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that featured her in. Some of her latest appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about an X-Men superhero, that she appears in as in a role as a guest. Sheedy has won many awards in 2005 for her work. She was also awarded with the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
